NOTICE OF RACE
1.1
The regatta
will be governed by The Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS), as modified by
this Notice of Race and the Sailing Instructions.
1.2
All
competitors are required to wear a life jacket or other adequate personal
floatation device while racing.
2.1 The
following classes are invited to participate: Formula Board, Slalom board, Wave, freestyle
and free ride kit.
2.2 Eligible racers may enter by completing a entry
form before the first race of an event.
2.3 An event is one day of racing.

2.4 All Entries must be received before
the first scheduled race of an event.
2.5 Once a racer has filled in an entry form, it can be re-used for subsequent events.

2.6 Every Sail shall have a number or a
readable mark or there will be no
score for the individual boat.
3.1 The Race Series is a total of 5 events for the 2013 season. There is donation of
$20 for the series. Note: if you enter 1 or 5 events the fee remains the same.
Fee includes a clinic at the beginning of each event. All entry fees will go towards the trophy ceremony.
4.0 SCHEDULE
4.1 The 5 events
will be held on 13 April, 25 May, 22 June, 13 July, 10 August 2014.
4.2 A maximum
of 5 races are scheduled per event, wind permitting.
4.3 First
possible start will be held at 2:45 pm for each event. Skippers
meeting at 1:00 pm for each event.
4.4 All Participants
and guests are welcome to attend an
informal trophy ceremony following the conclusion of the Cabrillo Racing Series
on Sunday 10th August 2014.
5.1 The Sailing Instructions will be available at
the skippers meeting , a copy may be found posted on the” Cabrillo Racing Series” blog
prior to race date.
6.1 The race area will be set on sea front at
Cabrillo Beach utilizing buoys.
7.1 Ten
minimum races shall constitute a series.
7.2 The series score shall be obtained by entering all the race scores in the javascore software which is downloaded from www.javascore.com.
8.0 DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
8.1 Competitors shall participate in the regatta
entirely at their own risk. The organizing members does not accept any
liability for material damage or personal injury or death sustained in
conjunction with, prior to, during, or after the regatta.
8.2 A disclaimer of liability shall
be signed by the competitor at registration
time.
